Just another one!!!

Wanted to post this picture because I think I have a very talented mother in law who is enjoying knitting things for miss diva. The sweater that she is wearing in this pic is one that she knitted. I think it's beautiful.  When miss diva put it on and said "whoooo". I think she really liked it as well.

Madisyn and Great Grandpa Brook

Grandpa Brook as been trying to hold Madisyn for months already but she just wouldn't go near him. Everytime he would visit or we would go to visit, he would have smarties to see if she would go up with him. She wouldn't even think about it.

On thursday night, I had everyone here for a BBQ. Madisyn was putting stickers on everyone including the dog. She noticed grandpa had smarties in his shirt pocket. She kindly said "please grandpa" So they shared smarties together and she finally sat with him. They both had a smile from ear to ear.

Madisyn and Nanna

Madisyn seems to be settling in...it took her just three days to warm up to Janet. She wanted to sit with her and Zoe. I am so happy that she is feeling at home. We love her so much and she is our world.

Shopping Day!!

Jason's mom came for her 6 month visit from Winnipeg. This was also her first time seeing miss diva. She was amazed at how tall she was. She was expecting a shorter little person. Needless to say she loved her to pieces. Janet wanted to go to St. Jacob's on thursday to the market, so, Jason took her, along with Libby and miss diva. They had a blast. Here they are running through the market. Jason said they were running fast and giggling like girls do!

Libby and miss diva had a chinese dumplings for snack. Jason said they were good.

1st Full Moon Festival Celebtations

Jason and I were excited once again to pack miss diva up and head to Newmarket to celebrate full moon festival with our friends and other families. When we arrived, Maelyn was sleeping so miss diva had a chance to explore her toyroom alone.
Finally the kids all arrived and miss diva had fun with them in the ladybug tent. She was laughing and giggling and having a wonderful time.
We ordered chinese food for dinner. Here are the adults eating, chatting and having a glass of wine.
kids checking out some toys Maelyn got for her birthday.
these cookies are called moon cakes and they were really good-Thanks Jan
After dinner, we made chinese lanterns with the kids. They had a blast and they thought it was great that myself and Leanne helped out!
Here is miss diva with her lantern. Jan had bought glow sticks to put inside. Miss diva wasn't so sure about them first, but when she realized they were glowing in the dark, she loved them.
All the kids going on a walk with their lanterns.
