4 months today

It was four months ago that I first held miss diva in my arms. Time is passing quickly and I love her more and more everyday. It seems like it just happened. I really love being a mom..the best feeling ever. Here is a picture of the first time I held her.

Niagara -on- the Lake

going for a walk down by the water...she really liked the waves crashing against the big rocks

waving hi to baba..she loves having her picture taken...lets see if she co-operates when we have family photos done in October.
watching the waves and the seagulls
walking ...she thought it was great because she wasn't in her stroller

First Dentist Appointment

Dr.Pannazzo was talking to us about what her teeth is doing and why they are the way they are. She has very good teeth. No cavities but a little wearing because of the cleft palate. He said he will not need to see her again until she is about 7 years old, Yay !!!
I think she is getting tired of people poking in her mouth. I am so glad that these specialits are so open to parents going in with their kids. Both Jason and I were allowed to go with her.
Just counting her teeth, she has 2 missing teeth because of the cleft..they will do x-rays when she is a little older to see what's happening with her adult teeth.
What a little trooper. She cried a little but was holding my hand tightly!!We are so proud of her. Good Job little princess.

Brushing Teeth

Miss Diva has this new thing where she likes to brush her teeth....which is a good thing..but...it has to be a battery operated toothbrush. She is a funny kid. We love her to pieces!!!!

First Birthday Party

Miss Diva had her first birthday party this weekend. This is her on our car ride to Newmarket. She thought it was great to be able to watch her mandarin movies while going for a car ride.
Paul and jan have this trampoline in their livingroom for their daughter. madisyn thought it was a wonderful thing. She was allowed to jump on this "piece of furniture".
Here are all the kids eating their lunch. This was a very quite time and short lived. She loves food and did a great job eating!!

They had cupcakes for dessert( which were amazing). She licked all the chocolate icing of and then she was done. She wanted to explore the different playroom.

A little sad!!!

Jason and his grandma Brook shared the same birthday. She passed away a few years ago. Jason said his birthday just isn't the same anymore. She was a wonderful lady and I know with out any doubt that she would adore miss diva. Jason always puts flowers on her grave and this year , he had miss diva colour in her card.

We miss you grandma brook , wish you were here to see her. We love you and miss greatly.xoxox

A Night with the Watkins Family

Ivan, Alisa and Libby came over for dinner. We ordered chinese food, drank beverages and after we sat outside and had a fire. Miss Diva wasn't so sure about the fire thing but we happy to know that we could cook food on there.lol
Madisyn and Libby play very well together. Libby was blowing bubbles and of course miss diva had to do it too. She blew until she figured it out. She was so proud of herself, along with mama and baba.

Here is Alisa eating roasted marshmallows. They were good. haven't had a roasted marshmallow in a long time.
Here she is, so proud she can finally blow bubbles too. I think she is going to be a tat bit competitive.
