First her big girl bed..now this.....

She was watching all the daycare kids go potty she wanted to go too.. we love you missy

Sleeping in her BIG girl bed

One night we were laying in bed together. I asked her if she wanted to sleep in her big girl bed. She nodded her head yes and I was thinking"Yeah, right!" Off we went to her bed, she crawled in and was asleep within 10 minutes. That was easy. I am still not sure how I feel about this. She is turly amazing and I feel turly blessed that GOD has blessed us with this little girl . I am so happy

Cousin Victoria's 2nd birthday

We took Madisyn to her cousin Victoria's birthday in Meaford. She had a blast because her new friend Libby was with us. She was a little shy first meeting them and stay close to mama, baba and grandpa. We had a wonderful time

This girl really likes her bling. She already likes the jewerly and it's funny to try and even get it off her. Boy , dadda has two girls that likes bling bling.

Meeting the Cleft Team

Today we took Madisyn down to Hamilton to meet the surgeons that will repair her palate. They were very impressed with her fine motor skills, comprehension of the english language already, her gross motor and how "smart" she is. I am so happy . They told us we are very fortunate. Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, July 4, 2011. They want it repared quickly because she is already 1 year behind regular scheduled dates for cleft kids that are born in Canada with cleft issues.

When we came out of the examination room , we saw Dianne and Mia. It was very funny because yesterday I told Mdisyn that she would see Mia today. Then she patted her head, and I replied"yes, Mia , that one who pats your  head. Today when Mia saw her, she had big smiles and patted her head. It's always great to see families who have shared such a wonderful experience with us.

Life here at home has been going well. Madisyn is settling in and we are so excited to finally have our little girl home with us. Here are some pics of her since we have been home.
