Oh Dear God!!!!

Today Jason took the princess for a tour of her classroom. I think this mama is going to cry the first day of school. Also, being a Registered Early Childhood Educator , seeing this classroom makes me cringe a little.

 OCD is kicking in because this is already driving me a little crazy......please help this momma

Our Gorgeous Daughter.....

Just yesterday, I was outside with the daycare kids and Miss Diva. She was keeping herself busy with playing, swing, and doing what kids do. I was sitting pondering how very blessed Jason and I are to have such a funny,beautiful, stubborn strong willed little princess in our lives. I feel the luckiest mama in the world to call this little girl my daughter.

Talking about strong willed, Miss diva, in the picture above was arguing with one of my 11 year old daycare kids. Guess what, she won that argument and had him playing with her....lol

Play structure.....

We have been wanting to make a barrier for the play structure, dig up the grass and put mulch underneath for a while. So, we finally took the weekend to get it done. It was hot and humid and sometimes raining but we got it done!

 The start of digging the grass up and putting the mini ties into place. It looks awful in this picture but it does get better.

 The grass and weeds are almost all gone and we can soon get busy putting the mulch down.

             Baba was busy making the stakes for the mini ties and did a very good job.

  Finally beginning to get mulch under the swings. Miss Diva was getting so excited about being "more" safe.

Outside play

 Miss Diva loves to take her toys outside to play in the backyard. She is having a lot of fun playing with lego and her friends.

 Crayola now has 3-d paint to paint on the road with. She thought this was the coolest thing ever. She painted for along time.

 In a bin of old toys I had, I found a measuring tape. She was excited to learn how to use it and then was off measuring things. First, the bench!

Heavy Heart...Praying for Teresa

Just recently, there has been a little girl , who is from China, had another chance at life. She had a heart transplant. Little Teresa is struggling but fighting for her life. There are people praying for this little girl all around the world.

I follow her mother's blog and wait for updates. I am having a very hard time looking at the pictures without tears filling my eyes. She is such a fighter and a little princess. I cannot even imagine what her parents are feeling right now.

God, knows best! He is the creator and healer. He sees the future and knows our path. Many prayers are said in hope that this little princess can be a testimony to his goodness and mercy.

Teresa, I've never met you but you have shown me what life is , what laughter is and love is. May I learn from you how to trust God for is protection and guidance in my life. Stay strong little princess, I would love to see you dance again.

On Father's day we didn't do much, we stayed home and hung out together. Madisyn was excited to give baba the card she made. Can u tell by the smile on her face?

Wild Water Kingdom

A while back, I bought wagjags and asked our friends if they wanted to join us.  It had to be used by the end of June , so we decided to go on Saturday.

 Miss diva was excited to see the big buckets but didn't want to go anywhere near it. She loved watching them tip over.

 She was still asleep when we arrived, as you can tell, she was still a little unhappy about being awake, BUT, She was very happy to see her friend.

 Maelyn going down the slides. She would fly down the other slide, while all the other kids would get stuck half way down. She loved it.

 Look at the smile on her face, she loved the water slides and a little dare devil once she gets used to it.

 Miss Diva wanted to go down the water slides with the inner tubes. She got stuck half way down and baba had to help her down. This was so funny!

 They had a little craft area for the kids. Earlier in the day, they were painting rocks and in the afternoon they had colouring sheets and had foam stickers for the children.

considering the expense of the park, the girls had a blast...that's all that really matters.

Sandbox

I am noticing the longer Miss diva is home, the more and more things she is willing to try and enjoying. Just this week she has decided that she absolutely loves playing in her sandbox. We were building sand castles and making animals in the sand.

Just another stepping stone to settling in at home. I see her growing and becoming a very curious little girl with lots of questions and lots of new ideas. I am truly enjoying this age but a little sad to see her getting so big.

June Cuteness

Did I ever mention how blessed I feel to have this little girl as my daughter? Just the other night I was standing in her room while she was sleeping with tears in my eyes, thinking about how wonderful and beautiful she is. Sometimes it's hard to believe that she is really home.

 If you can't tell or haven't noticed, this little girl is in love with Hello Kitty. I remember when we went to visit her orphanage, her nanny had a cell phone and it's case had Hello Kitty on it. I keep wondering if she was permitted to play with it sometimes?

                             Well, hello there Princess. You have beautiful long blonde hair.

 For her birthday, miss diva was given some money and a Toys R Us card. (Thank you Auntie Melissa, Uncle Jeff and Kaleb). So, we took her shopping. She thought it was wonderful to be able to buy whatever she wanted. One of the things she wanted was a flash light. She picked the bubble bee flash light and was a very happy camper with her decision.
