so, we received an email today from our agency stating that we are the next in line to be matched with a boy with cl/cp. I am freakin' excited and cannot wait to see his face and know where he is from.

Our agency is stating there is a few minor correctable needs on the shared list so it will more then likely be a individual file that comes from the CCCWA. Our agency receives their files every four months. So in july there are expecting their next set of files. I am excited but nervous at the same time.

I will keep you posted. For those who have prayed for Miss Diva, please for our son. His heart, his protection and his health.

Happy 3rd Forever Family Day!

Three years today, was mother's day and I became a mama to the most adorable little girl. My heart was happy to finally see her, sad to see her pain, afraid of the unknown and thrilled to be a family finally.

Miss diva has come so far in three years. There are lots of things we have been working on and still need to keep pluggin' away at but most of all, we are a family of three and couldn't be happier.

3 years ago today

 Three years we saw this sign and reality hit. We were in China to get our daughter. I remember walking through the doors of that airport terminal a little frazzled, not knowing who I was looking for but knowing someone will be there for us.

 Flying over the north pole.....it looks pretty cold and frosty to me. I hope Santa is okay in all of this.

 This was our ride that picked us up @ the airport and escorted us to our hotel. Jason and I were thrilled to pieces to finally to be in our daughter's country and would be sleeping in the same time zone that night.

I still can't believe that it's been 3 years already. It's seems like Miss Diva as always been apart of our family and but sometimes it still feels like we stepped of that plane with her in Toronto.

Easter Morning

This kid makes my heart swell. She is not about material things but being happy and grateful for what she has. She came into our room easter morning, got back into bed and stayed there.

Around 7 am, she said, "mama, there is something on my bed. I think the easter bunny left it  and he made a big mess." So, together we decided to check it out.

                          Her first easter egg, she found in her bed. She thought it was so funny.
