 How much Miss Diva loves to dance? This is her passion. She dances all day long. I love to see her"moves".

Family Day

We decided that we would go to Niagara Falls for Family Day. Aunt Evelyn and poppy Peter went wirh us. She was very excited when I told her they were coming too.

 She wanted this shirt when we were doing groceries, I thought it was pretty cute as well. She kept saying "mine. momma" It was only $8.00. No big deal. I have a shopper on my hands. I am excited to go shopping with in Birch Run outlets.

I told her she could have smarties for dessert. She thought she was getting the whole container...see that smile....I think she likes smarties. She wasn't impressed when i told her just 5....silly bum!

A Little Quite

Yesterday I was busy doing something in the kitchen. Miss Diva was very quite..she wasn't doing her dancing , singing or being next to me , so i thought to myself.."this can't be good..where is she and what is she doing?" My first thought was that she had gotten into my jewerly stand and was playing in there. So, I went looking for her. This is what she was doing! reading! She's such a wonderful little girl.

Miss diva's big girl bed

Since we brought Miss Diva home, we had the bumper pads in her bed. They were there because of night terrors that we prepared for, that never happened (thank goodness). So this weekend I took them out. She still hasn't figured out that she can in and out on her own. I will not show her that for a while  lol. Now she has more room to sleep and play. She is growing up way to fast.

Love bugs

Today was a wonderful day with the daycare kids. They were all well behaved and was busy doing stuff. We decided that we would make some love bug considering that valentine's day is just around the corner. I love my job!!!

 Miss Diva working hard on her love bug. She loves crafts and always does more then one. I love seeing her imagination at work. She is so wonderful!

10 months ago today!!

10 months ago today, I remember reaching for a little girl that was very curious about where she was and what was going on. I tried picking her up and she began to cry. It took me 3 tries to finally scoop her from the nannies arms and watch her little heart shatter. She cried for a while but settled down once I sat down with her to chat to the nanny and the orphanage director. She began to scream once we were done talking with them and they got up to leave. She watched as they walked out the revolving door and she was left with us.

She was scared, I was scared and we both cried together. I whispered in her ear that I will never hurt you but only promise to love her. Soon after that she fell asleep in my arms and we made our way up to our room, where she slept for 45- 60 mins.

This picture she is clutching the only thing she new from her previous life and scared to death.

10 months later. she is well adjusted to live as a canadian. She loves to dance, sing read stories and soaks up any type of learning. She is truly our blessing, everyday, I look at her it's  a constant reminder how the master had the perfect plan. She is beautiful and keeps us tired daily.

For anyone that reads this blog and as ever thought about adoption, it's amazing!We are praying that things will come together for us so we can add to our family  and head back to China for another child.

15th and last day

 Today is the last day for Chinese New Year! They do the lion dance to scare away evil spirits and decorate the trees outside to light the way for the New Year and good spirits.

13-14 days of CNY

these days should be for preparations to celebrate the lantern festival which is to be held on the 15th.

10th through 12th days

The 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invitedfor dinner. After so much rich food,on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens (choi sum) to cleanse the system.
