Having difficulties

I am having some difficulties with blogger, please bare with me as I try and figure this out!

Dance class admission

Today we were aloud to go inside the dance class and watch what they have been working on. She loves her dancing and her music. I have never seen a kid love dance so much and enjoys it whole heartedly. She makes my heart happy

A Heavy Heart!!!!

Jason's granddad has been recently diagnoised with stage 1 lung cancer. This makes my heart heavy and very sad. I enjoy spending time with him and I also enjoy cooking for him. He truly loves spending time with our princess and he cherishes every moment they are together. He was scared that he wouldn't get to meet her because our waiting was so long.

Finally, she arrived home and he was thrilled. She was very cautious of new people but grandpa Brook won her over with SMARTIES. He never fails to have them when we see him and she knows that as well.

 This picture brings tears to my eyes. You can see the pride and love that she painted all over grandpa's face. She loves to have stories and especially when grandpa is reading. I am so glad that 2 of Jason's grandparents got to meet her. I wish daily that my grandparents was here to see her.

Ribbons and Bows

One of the families that traveled to China with us, sends Miss Diva these beautiful ribbons for her hair. I think they are so cute, so I had to try and make them. So, here are the things I needed, ribbons, dowels, braettes and wooden clothes pins. Then I had to twist the ribbon around the dowels and put clothes pins on the ends.

 After, the were all safely secured,  I put them on a cookie sheet and in the oven they went for 25 mins.

     Out comes beautiful twirlly ribbons......I am getting excited about making these.

                    And then attached them to the braette......I like this but thinks it should be bigger

Gifts from Newfoundland

Miss Diva received a parcel in the mail today. She was excited to finally be able to open it because I made her wait until all her daycare friends were gone home.

 She couldn't move the paper fast enough whe she saw the hello kitty on the fabric.

 Look at the smile on her face. She gave it a snuggle and carried it to be bed and but it into bed. I  sleep with it okay mommy? Is what I was asked.....

Big Girl Bed

I am having a hard time with this change. This was the last piece of baby that I was holding onto. Now, she is in a big girl bed. She had a hard time with it for the first hour, then she was okay with it.

 The collection of stuff we had to haul from her room to get the double bed together. this "double" bed is almost as big as our queen.

  The big girl bed is almost together, look at how big it is......hope she loves sleeping in it!

                                                  and together. The duvet cover is one we bought in Beijing@ the silk market. We bought pillow cases too. This feels so wonderful to touch and it looks beautiful in her room.

 She always has a smile. I am totally in love with this little girl. She is amazing. She wanted to wear her shirt Toria (Victoria) gave her during the day with her daycare friends.
