She made me cry......

  This morning Miss Diva and I were in the bathroom. She was sitting there patiently waiting for the pee to come and I heard this

Momma, can I tell you something?
Yes, I am listening.
Momma, you make my heart happy
(while try to form a heart with her hands)
I replied with "baby girl, you make momma's heart extremely happy too"

I sat there with tears in my eyes, knowing that this little girl has a happy heart and is happy to be here with us.

Mid Autumn Festival

 Jan and I chatting about whatever.....look at the stack of pizza boxes.....it was a blast

 we made paper lanterns and went for a walk in the neighbourhood. Miss diva is working hard on hers.

Jason and I feel very blessed to have wonderful friends whom we celebrate most of the holidays with. Mid Autumn is a festival we spent with friends who all have children from China. They are like our extended family and we love spending time with them.

 Miss Diva is watching very closly what I am doing and copying these days. She wants to just like momma. I never thought that would scare me, but it does. I have to be careful in what I do and say because I have a little person who is watching my every move.

The Blue Moon......

Just a few weeks ago, Jason's mom came to visit from Winnipeg. WE love when she comes to visit. She was here for 2 weeks, the first Sunday she was here, Grandpa Brook wanted to go to The Blue Moon for dinner. So we did. That evening, it was karaoke night and it was all old people their. Miss Diva had all she could do to keep her feet still while eating dinner. She was like someone on hot bricks. She loves any type of music. Finally , dinner was done and she was free to do whatever while we ate dessert. She shared a sundae with Nana and finally dragged her grandpa up dancing. She is funny.

The whole place thought it was the cutest thing ever. I am glad she is creating memories now, because grandpa is 85 and whole knows what the future holds.

He adores her and she adores him. I am glad they got to meet because I know he was a little worried he wasn't going to see her. We love you grandpa, thanks !

New Dance Classes have started

 She was playing with wax sticks and making things.....she wanted me to play with her, so I did and made these glasses and had her try them on. She thought this was the funniest thing ever.

we had to buy miss diva a new car seat because the one she had expired, so while baba was putting her new car seat into the car, she was playing in the box.
